Garden Cafe Closure Notice
To our amazing customers, suppliers and extended 1770 Getaway community that have richly filled the pages of our story over the past 20 years, we wish to say thank you and share with you that the final chapter of the 1770 Getaway story is coming to a close.
As many of you know, our business has been on the market for several months. We have given it our all over the past 20 years and have been looking forward to a change in pace where we can spend more quality time with family and enjoy this beautiful town we live in and proudly call home.
We are excited to share with you that the property will be changing hands and direction and will be migrating to an Environmental Conservation and Research Facility in the coming months. We look forward to sharing more details on this exciting new future for the property and community in the coming weeks as we near the handover.
As a first step of moving towards this transition, the Getaway Garden Cafe will be CLOSING PERMANENTLY as follows:

We want to thank, each and every one of you for your continuous support and patronage over the past 20 years!
We feel so honoured to have been a part of your lives, whether it was your weekly coffee catch-up, your daily coffee and/or cake fix, a place you visited every time you were in Agnes, or the place where you married or had your special event. We know there have been so many memories made here, so many conversations had, and so many children have run over the grass, taken their first steps and played in the garden.
From the roast and wood-fired pizza nights to all the customers we have come to know by name, this will be a big transition for us, and we will miss you all so much.
Biggest thank you to all of our dedicated staff who have worked hard over the years. We could not have built and achieved what we did without you!
We look forward to seeing your beautiful faces over the next month before the end of an era and we will be forever grateful that we built something so great in the community that will make saying goodbye so difficult, and you all played a role in that.
